RISE Hosts REALM General Assembly in Split

From 23–25 June 2025, RISE welcomed partners of the REALM project to Split, Croatia, for the consortium's General Assembly. Held at Tehnološki park Split, the meeting brought together project partners, both in person and online, to review progress, discuss technical developments, and prepare for the final phase of the project.

The General Assembly was opened by Gabrijela Radić, Managing Director of RISE, who welcomed consortium members to Split before the project coordinators introduced the agenda and objectives for the three-day meeting. Throughout the meeting, partners reviewed progress across the project's work packages, discussed the latest developments of the REALM platform, and aligned on the next steps for implementation. Dedicated sessions also focused on communication and dissemination activities, including planning the project's upcoming events and outreach initiatives.

As the partner leading communication and dissemination activities within REALM, RISE facilitated discussions on the project's communication strategy and preparations for the final phase of outreach. Valentina Guštin, Communication Manager at RISE, and Sofija Jelčić, RISE's Research and Innovation Manager for the REALM project, coordinated sessions focused on ensuring effective communication of project results and planning future engagement activities. The meeting also included an exploitation workshop led by Ivana Vuka PHD, who guided partners in exploring opportunities to maximise the long-term impact and sustainability of the project's results beyond its duration.

Beyond the formal programme, the General Assembly provided an opportunity for partners to strengthen collaboration through networking activities and informal discussions in Split, reinforcing the importance of face-to-face meetings in international research projects. "We are proud to have welcomed the REALM consortium to Split and to support this important initiative. Bringing partners together in person encourages open dialogue, strengthens collaboration, and helps us move forward with a shared vision for the project." – Gabrijela Radić, Managing Director, RISE

The discussions and agreements reached during the General Assembly provide a strong foundation for the project's next activities as REALM continues to support the regulatory assessment of AI-driven healthcare software across Europe.
